we were in a great and brilliant location near the norway in a nutshell route, the next ferry out of the place and gudvangen pier.

We appreciated family apartment except for the viking style wooden carving & skin on the bed. The breakfast was delicious with bacon, hot options plus view in the sky, the staff was pleasant and outstandingly accommodating. Stunning remote location really close to mountains all around and the ferry to Nærøyfjord.

The hotel's location was unbeatable, right on the ferry pier with stores and convenience stores within walking distance. Also, Njardarheimr was placed at a small distance.
Some people working there were poor.

The location was unbeatable and cozy for traveling around Gudvangen, just off the Norway in a Nutshell tour, mountain and the tunnel connecting Flam which messed up everyone's plan. The king room was convenient and good with view. The staff were all sweet, nice service: D

The location for Gudvangen was stunning, not far from the waterfalls and the mountains, cascades of the fiords and the cafe. On arrival the room was reasonably spacious and bright.

The setting is great, close to the hotel/restaurant, the mountain and the waterfall and the Viking park and the Kayak base, comfortable area. Again, it's not far from The Viking Experience.

Remote location just next door to the tunnel connecting Flam, so would be convenient if wanting to hop round to Flam by ferry and the restaurant for breakfast, it was in a nice enough area. Also, the venue was so close to The Viking Experience.

It has unique and stunning location to the nature. And it's nestled in a nice building just next door to a fjord and Kjosfossen falls, the ferry pier and bus stop and the boat ride.

The hotel's location was marvellous, short walk to Gudvangen in the future and restaurant and self-service. The breakfast was tasty, they make lots of meals.

Nice hotel with exceptionally comfortable rooms. Tasty and good breakfast — lots of meals. Unbeatable and super location - close enough to the boat ride and ferry and the lovely nature / mountains surrounding the valley. Also, in the tunnel connecting Flam which messed up everyone's plan.

What a perfect place to stay in the Fjords! The location was absolutely stunning, nestled in Nærøyfjord with breathtaking views of the mountains. The manager who received us was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. The beds were comfortable and the staff was generally courteous and helpful. We also enjoyed exploring the surrounding area and taking in the serene surroundings after the tour buses and boats had left for the day. The German WWII bunkers on the hills above the tunnel were an interesting and enjoyable visit. The breakfast, once they brought out the traditional Norwegian buffet, was delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly memorable stay in the Fjords.

Basic cabin accomodation at the end of the fjiord. Ideal to start the cruise. Reasonable restaurant with good evening meal and breakfast. Staff friendly.
